A Chicago Cubs fan is the most faithful fan in baseball. "The Bleacher Preacher" pays homage to one of the biggest Chicago Cubs fans with an interview taken in 2010 with die hard Cubs fan Jerry Pritikin aka Bleacher Preacher. The interview takes you down baseball memory lane through the historical stories told by a devoted Cubs fan of 65 years that reveals what it means to be a Cubs loyalist. "The Bleacher Preacher" is a fan's story of love for ones favorite baseball team. It's a tribute to true blue Cubs fans. Baseball is not just a game for some FAN-atics. It's a way of life! The Bleacher Preacher was a fixture in the bleacher section at the "Friendly Confines" during the 1980's. He wore a solar powered pith helmet with a wind propeller. He carried a life size voodoo doll jinxing opposing teams and displayed his clever handmade signs and T-shirts around Wrigley Field. He was known for the TEN CUB-MANDMENTS he created and wanted loyal Cubs disciples to obey. He performed a ritual baptizing non-Cubs fans converting them into Cubs fans. He was a baseball activist preserving Cubs traditions. He honored ballplayers with awards he made special for them. He heckled opposing ballplayers from the cheap seats rooting for his beloved Cubbies. The Bleacher Preacher takes being a fan to another level and he is a fan like no other. Harry Caray, Cubs legendary broadcaster, tabbed the Bleacher Preacher as "the Cubs #1 fan." Pritikin is the ultimate loyalist therefore one of the greatest Cubs fan. "HOW DO YOU SPELL BELIEF? CUBS!!!"
