Throughout recorded history nature's predators have been the most grossly misunderstood and unjustly persecuted creatures in the animal kingdom. Most cultures viewed them as nothing more than cruel and evil vermin to be exterminated. But today we are finally able to see nature's hunters in a different light. Now we realize that a healthy ecosystem requires a healthy balance of predators.
