When Jet is tasked to clean out the garage, he wonders if there could be a machine that could clean up everything. He learns from Dr. Rafferty that there is junk everywhere in space, prompting the kids to try and clean up their 'space neighborhood.' They go to space, where they meet up with Jet's Uncle Zucchini, who is a galactic garbageman.
