Brenda Blue (live-action) helps Jay Jay and his TarryTown friends (computer animation) help Jay Jay's new friend Lina overcome her fear of the ocean and in the process learn about water. Lina is a young Hispanic plane introduced in this series. Each new 12-minute segment was combined with an older episode to create the new half-hour series of 10 episodes.
