A single father looks for a mountain home where he can beat the California heat in Palm Springs. Ideally, he'd like a mid-century home with a great view of the town of Running Springs but his grade school best friend thinks a place that feels more like a cabin near Big Bear would bring in more money if he decides to rent it out.
