A stolen car has been found abandoned in a side street by police. In the boot of the car is a valuable painting which has been stolen recently from Fulchester's Brabazon Art Gallery. The car thief claims to have had no idea that a valuable work of art was in the boot. Is the theft of the painting related to the theft of the car? Or are the two thefts completely unrelated?
