A blind girl has fallen down a fire-escape and a drug addict has been beaten up. The team struggle through a heavy workload, but where is Charlie? Matters reach crisis point when a man is found sitting in a cubicle pointing a pistol at his own forehead. Charlie's arrives late and he is in a bad mood, even though it's his 40th birthday.
