He was also known for his love of playing soccer and subscribing to the Rastafarian lifestyle which promoted healthy eating and living. But on May 11th, 1981 Bob Marley died in a Miami hospital at just 36 years of age. Widespread disbelief at his death meant conspiracy theories about a possible assassination quickly circulated.
